Welcome to the 2013 season at Sawmill Lake Fly Fishing! 

The Lake is now open and in full operation and the hatches are incredible. Calibaetis and Damsels have been the main hatches with a few midges around as well.  There have been a few changes here at the Lake this season and first and foremost Joe Cerniglia is trying to retire and has turned over the daily operations to Victor Babbitt at Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters (530)-541-8208.  Joe is still involved for the time being but really wants to hang with his Grandchildren as much as he can.  Expect to see Joe up at the lake on occasion but he will be fazing out of the day to day fishing as TFFO takes over.  Guided fishing trips are available as well as daily access for fishing on your own.  Rates have stayed the same for the 2013 season with all bookings being done through TFFO.  Please give us a call if you have questions and we would be glad to accommodate your requests!
