Welcome to the 2014 season at Sawmill Lake Fly Fishing!

We had an early start this year and a late update about the Lake...  oops, been a little busy this Spring.  The fishing has been great and the dry fly action still top notch!  There are those that fish this lake deep but I think it is a dry fly paradise.  Cruising fish looking up for the opportunity to eat off of the surface, it just doesn't get any better.  Don't expect trout in a barrel, these fish can be picky later in the season but the challenge can't be beat.  With the drought conditions and the effects it is having on the rivers, Sawmill Lake should be a great option going into the latter part of the Summer.  I can't wait for the cool down this Fall which should really turn these fish on!  Join us for some fun action either guided or on your own, Sawmill Lake Fly Fishing is in the middle of another fine year.
